These short videos, 3 – 5 minutes each, will help volunteers learn to respond to behaviors exhibited by children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorders. Instructors will demonstrate responses to a selection of these behaviors: meltdowns, poor attention, hyperactivity, non-compliance, aggression, and communication difficulties.

Jesus gave us a vision in Luke 14: Reach out to the people on the margins of our communities and bring them in “that my house may be filled.”
Are adults with developmental disabilities in your church family? Are they participating in meaningful ways?
Could your congregation reach out to adults with special needs in your community?
Come learn how to strengthen existing ministries of worship, learning, and service, leading to a more inclusive congregational life.
Family members, send this post to your church leaders. Start the conversation!
